This cake is a perfect happy medium. It isn't as dense as a regular buttercake, but isn't too soft either. Super tasty!
Ingredients
- 1.5 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup milk
Preparation
- Sift together flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Cream the butter and blend in the white sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy.
- Add dry mixture alternately with milk.
